SVP, Sales Accelerator

Hassan began his career with Target, gaining valuable experience in store operations and retail execution. After working for Target, he transitioned into a sales role for a large snacks manufacturing company. Later, Hassan joined Cameron’s Coffee as a Sales Director, where he helped to grow the business exponentially across the U.S. and Canada. Throughout his career one thing held constant — Hassan had a proven ability for helping growing brands accelerate their growth and take their business to greater heights. In early 2015 Hassan and his brother, Ali Shouman, decided to apply their abilities and experience to establish the C.A. Build CPG Sales business. In 2018 C.A. Build was acquired by C.A. Fortune and he continues to oversee the C.A. Build business unit as well as sit on the CAF Corporate Leadership team. In his free time, Hassan enjoys spending time with his family, golfing or catching a Twins game, and trying out new trendy restaurants with his wife.

Ali founded C.A. Build in 2013 after spending years in both big CPG and leading sales team for high growth brands. With the help of his co-founder who also happens to be his brother, a vision for a national outsourced sales management team has grown into reality. C.A. Build is the top sales management agency for high-growth brands who are looking to have all aspects of their sales ecosystem managed by some of the best talent in the industry. While other groups offer a focus in HQ calls, insights, or even trade management, the C.A. Build team is best-in-class in all of the necessary sales management functions. In 2018, C.A. Build was acquired by C.A. Fortune, a national sales agency, to provide sales accelerator services for high growth brands.

Brit Cattey leads the Sales Operations team by managing the complexities behind the scenes. From forecasting revenue and trade spend management to building relationships with distributors, she works closely with colleagues, agency contacts, and distributor partners to ensure that our sales team has what they need to sell. When she’s not working, she likes hanging out with her husband and watching her favorite MLB and MLS teams.

Director, Sales

Wendy has held various sales-based careers since she graduated from Central Michigan University in 2003, with a Bachelor of Science, major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. In 2014 Wendy was presented with an opportunity to join the C.A. Fortune team. She has worked in nearly every pillar of the organization ranging from a Business Manager, to a Client Development Manager, to Director level in 2018 leading our Retail Services pillar of the organization. In September of 2018 Wendy transitioned to the C.A. Build Team, where she is now the Director of Sales. She manages the entire sales team along with account responsibilities for Meijer, Kroger and Walmart. In her free time, she enjoys camping, volleyball and golf. Most of all she looks forward to vacationing and spending time wither her family and friends.

Debi comes to the C.A. Build team with extensive experience in management and people development. Prior to C.A. Build, Debi was part of the C.A. Fortune family and managed and developed a team of sales reps in the retail marketplace. She has had the opportunity to work very closely with the leadership team for various clients as well as all levels of management at the retail and corporate level. She is very excited to dig her heels in and be a part of the growth and development of our C.A. Build clients. In her spare time, Debi enjoys all things family! She and her husband enjoy watching sports, visiting their favorite local restaurants and binge watching the newest season of one of the latest, trending TV series. They also take in an occasional movie and spend as much time as possible with their two daughters.

Matt comes to C.A. Build Sales Management with over 20 years industry experience. Matt has held a variety of positions with Anheuser Bush, Dr. Pepper/7up and KeHE. Matt’s work as an Account Manager working in the Meijer corporate office and at the Albertsons/Safeway Southern office, showed his proven ability to council, direct and grow sales for many brands. Matts passion for developing retailer and brand relationships makes him a key part of the C.A. Build team. In his free time, Matt loves to be outdoors, travel and spending time with his family.

James adds value to the Sales Operations team by providing outstanding service to our clients and by using his diverse experience to bring our clients’ growth to the next level. On a personal level, James lives in the Kansas City area with his wife Kathy and two daughters.
